I'm very happy to have found your news site of important stories of the week. As a former actress and married to a professional actor, I was very interested in Rick Beato's video on why music is getting worse. But I cannot agree with him that you have to bag groceries and pay a lot to appreciate music. My analysis of why modern movies are terrible I believe is also applicable to music and all the arts. It's the denial of the importance of personality in arts and also in life. For a long time, I thought CGI had ruined movies, like giving you oatmeal for dinner instead of the juicy steak of real life. However, having tried to watch any movie after 2000 and always becoming frustrated and bored, I realized that even the most B level movie in grainy black and white from the 1930s was compelling in a way that no post 2000 movie ever was, I came to the conclusion that personality matters much more than I'd understood. Personality is simply not replicable. You either have an interesting personality, or you don't. What would Gone With the Wind be without Clark Gable? Or The Godfather without Brando? Or The Sound of Music without Julie Andrews? It's why all AI art is ultimately dull and forgettable. It lacks the richness, excitement and originality of a human personality. Anyway, great website which I hope to visit as often as possible. https://www.marcycasterline.com/

Gard, good stuff as always but today, I'm feeling a little light headed. Forgive my exercise in ridiculousness. (how do you spell that anyway?) I'll jump into it in the middle and have some fun.

#4 Reminds me of the tales of FDR and how the media hid his condition from the public.

#5 Reminds me of the story of Congressman Davey Crockett's "Not yours to give" give speech he gave to Congress just two years after the War Between the States. https://thepoliticalinsider.com/200-years-ago-davy-crockett-perfectly-explained-the-limits-on-government-spending-not-yours-to-give/

#6 Large Italian...I do knew a little Italian. He worked at the Deli for years in A.J. Litteri's food store off FLA Ave in NW DC. Nice guy. Used give me and my little brother a few samples while Pop was giving him his order.

#7 I remember reading about the late Pat Hingle, having lost a finger in a bizarre accident after falling down an elevator shaft. (I forgot "bizarre" had to two "r"s-how bizarre?)

#8 Just like the Neo-Soviets who run the Democrat Party to use schisms a la carte'. Democracy is ok today for the white Neo-Soviets to use but when the American left wants to cry about Democracy and how awful it is, they trot out Al Sharpee Sharpton and call out Democracy as something put together by "those Greek Homos".

#10 You can keep the FIAT and I'll take the cash

#11 I'll bet most people don't know how to pronounce Vigano' in Eye Tie.

#12 You know, Sociology is like a hurricane over the open water. The eye wall keeps tearing itself down and rebuilds itself to a stronger storm. Eventually, the storm hit land resistance and gets rung out or it just loses it's punch and dissipates. It all depends on when it happens in your lifetime.

#13 UK? They still run us.

#14 Sounds like the makings of a USO show

#15 Go back to #5

#16 Every sword has two edges!

#17 Are those fiddlers on a hot tin roof? (I'm in rare form this morning)

I'll stop! If people still are afraid of starting over, I have to believe that it's the water and the food.

Just like in Mexico?

Yours in liberty,

Vince
