TWO:
The Trump shooting. Though I deplore the leftist tactics of deconstructionism and their casting of blame onto "right wing" movies, or books, or other media "influences" when a single person commits a criminal act, after hearing of the attempt to kill Donald Trump, I hoped, but did not expect, the pop media might think about their incessant drumbeat of "Trump is Hitler" or "Trump's supporters are Nazis" (even as the pop media downplayed the violence of Antifa and BLM). Here's how CNN depicted the attempt to kill Trump. https://x.com/WallStreetSilv/status/1812261888866349462
This is interesting. Good thing people can rely on cops, eh? https://x.com/catturd2/status/1812276533567889841
THREE:
Can the pop media dispense with the "I'm shocked, SHOCKED, I say!" nonsense about them being surprised by Biden's cognitive problems? The same pattern can be discerned in their coverups re the actual falsity of the COVID "numbers", the climate canard, the economy, and more... This is a nice mask they are attempting to don. The key line is "that are not technically feasible or economically justified." Who is ANY politician or government bureaucrat to determine for anyone else what is "technically feasible or economically justified?" These politicians are attempting to look like defenders of both consumers and manufacturers/employees in these fields, but they STILL assume that government has some place to interfere in peaceful private exchange. It's jaw-dropping to think that they load their attempt to "stop" the Dept of Energy (hello, Ms. Granholm) with language that continues the usurpation of freedom. They are not courageous enough to stand against the unconstitutional department in the first place, so they use the wiggle words that can be "interpreted" by members of Congress or the Dept of Energy. My freedom to decide for myself what I want to buy is not supposed to be put at the mercy of a gang of tax-hungry politicians. Nice try, but how about they actually abide by their oaths? The mucky-mucks at the IRS are patting themselves on their proverbial backs because they coerced even more cash out of the so-called "rich". First, that term is subjective, impossible to define by government, and used to press class envy on those who buy into the idea that anyone who has more ought to have it stolen by government and handed away to special recipients. Second, as Reason's Eric Boehm observes, the new loot will fund the federal leviathan for – 90 minutes. The IRS Gloats About Its Successful Efforts to Soak the Rich – PJ Media

This actually is more significant than the old-time framing of the subject might make it appear... The ruling, from Federal District Judge Mark Pittman in TX, actually calls into question ALL federal bans on the sales of homemade products, beyond moonshine, and it might be applicable to other products that are not made at home. One of the keys to Judge Pittman issuing his injunction against enforcement of this century-and-a-half old federal ban on the sale of homemade moonshine is that Pittman noted that the statute need not have been enforced for the plaintiff to bring the case. He wrote, in part that the plaintiff: "...has demonstrated a legal interest that could be lost if he is prosecuted for engaging in conduct that he believes Congress has no power to prohibit. McNutt has therefore suffered an injury-in-fact sufficient for Article III standing. See Lujan, 504 U.S. at 560"
The actual statute allowed the feds to fine a "wrongdoer" $10,000 or send him to prison for five years. Federal Judge Finds Americans Have Constitutional Right To Distill Moonshine In Their Bathtub | The Daily Caller
Here is one more link: Federal judge rules that 156-year-old ban on at-home distilling is unconstitutional (msn.com)
As they note, Pittman has delayed for fourteen days his injunction from coming into effect, to allow the feds to bring an appeal to the federal appellate level.

This is very interesting. Orban has been trying to broker a real peace agreement between Ukraine and Russia, not putting on a fake "peace conference" like the one held in Geneva, to which the Russians were not invited. For this, the hierarchy of EU snakes has attacked Orban. But Trump has met with Orban... Interesting. Hungary’s Viktor Orban and Trump Meet at Mar-a-Lago After NATO Summit (breitbart.com) It might be meaningless, given that Trump did little to stop the puppet Ukrainian government from killing people in the Donbass and Trump pulled the US out of the INF treaty (which has seen the US promising to deliver to Germany rockets that can carry nukes), but it is quite different from the EU gang (Orban just got the figurehead "leadership" position of the EU, and the folks who have coddled Ursula von Der Leyen really do not like his attempts to bring an end to the Ukraine war.

This is significant. I got to report on it Wednesday on my streaming show. Garm is an offshoot of the World Federation of Advertisers (WFA) and when I did some digging on the org, I found that members not only include big corporations like Proctor and Gamble, which ought to be able to withdraw their ad money or tell platforms they won't advertise if certain ideology is on a site, but the membership also includes Google/YT, BP, Shell, and other corporations tied to governments. Here is the Congressional report on how this org (which started in 2019, in Cannes) has organized to pressure media in a manner much like NewsGuard has (talking the rhetoric of "disinformation") 2024-07-10 GARMs Harm - How the Worlds Biggest Brands Seek to Control Online Speech.pdf (house.gov)
