Get out of NATO? An interesting idea. Mike Lee would go further than Trump. And, of course, this 5% of national GDP spending that Trump purportedly got other NATO member states (except Spain) to spend only can happen if they borrow a ton from the ECB.
Senator Mike Lee Pushes U.S. NATO Exit Bill as Trump Reaffirms Alliance Support - btimesonline.com
President Donald Trump declared his continued support for NATO during a summit in The Hague on Wednesday, even as Republican Senator Mike Lee of Utah introduced legislation to pull the United States out of the military alliance. The move underscored widening tensions within the GOP over America's global defense commitments and NATO's future role in U.S. foreign policy.

China Confirms Trade Deal Framework as U.S. Says Rare Earth Shipments to Resume - btimesonline.com
The United States and China have finalized a framework agreement to expedite rare earth mineral exports and ease certain technology restrictions, the latest sign of a fragile détente between the world's two largest economies. The deal, confirmed Friday by China's Ministry of Commerce, follows months of stalled implementation after a preliminary consensus was reached in Geneva this spring.

What's interesting here is that, in the abstract, all redistribution of wealth/welfare schemes are manifestations of politicians invading other people's lives, squatting in their lives and claiming some of their property. Why are they not applying the cuts more universally?

This is another big one. It's interesting, in large part, because none of them speak up about the existence of Obamacare and the mandate panel. The very term "mandate panel" ought to set off more than a few alarm bells in the "land of the free". It also brings to mind what I mentioned Friday on my streaming show: the tricky way Roberts got around the "anti-injunction act" to slide Obamacare into the SCOTUS years ago in order to call it "constitutional". Here's the focused decision, on whether an Exec Branch department head can fire these people at will or has to do it only "for cause." LINK!

This is the flipside of the problem that Biden ballooned when he amped-up the artificial migration of people under the "parole" program. Now, they want to force the people OUT. But those people entered believing they were doing so legally, and now, they will have to return, without them doing anything other than what Biden asked of them. The sudden flip is incredibly problematic for these people and the folks for whom they might work. Again, we see that the US central-planning system of immigration control flips and skips depending on who is in office — while the Constitution, which leaves it to the states, is overlooked.
Noem prepares to deport 500,000 immigrants from one long-troubled island
Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem announced the termination of Temporary Protected Status for approximately 500,000 foreign nationals as part of the Trump administration's effort to clamp down on the immigration crisis.

Kaine was close to correct, here. He didn't even go far enough. Like we saw when Ron Paul offered a Declaration of War (he promised to not vote for it, and didn't vote for it, because he opposed going to War) prior to the US invasion of Iraq/Afghanistan called the "Authorization to Use Military Force" - the term is not in the US Constitution. It has to be Declaration of War.

Reason has a nice list of examples for Zohran Mamdani to see that echo the truism that government-run systems cannot operate "efficiently" because "efficiency" is subjective and has to be determined by each of us, among many facets of a business or its offerings. Mamdani's idea of government-run grocery stores simply is a more obvious extension of welfarism and things such as food stamps. Not only are they unethical and immoral, they foster dependency and retard any measurement of real valuation.
