This is ethnic cleansing. It also is not sanctioned by the US Constitution. NBC Reports that Trump is serious about trying to move the Palestinian population out of Gaza, as he notes the death and destruction there — death and destruction he and Biden and most of Congress funded and which they armed the IDF to commit. Regardless of what one thinks of the Israeli occupation and its blowback, it would be nice if Mr. Trump and the people who swear to uphold the Constitution actually did that. Here is the new development, as NBC claims they have news of Trump wanting to send Palestinians to Libya.
Since this thumbnail doesn’t appear, let’s see a shot of something one might see near one of the most dangerous places he or she could visit:
Trump administration working on plan to move 1 million Palestinians to Libya - NBC News
In exchange for the resettling of Palestinians, the administration would potentially release to Libya billions of dollars of funds that the U.S. froze more than a decade ago, those three people said.

And this has a bearing on it. Here, we see Red State CELEBRATING pork spending... Yep! Sure, it's pork spending, but it's unconstitutional handout action that has seen accoutrements like DEI removed, so it's perfectly fine! Talk about discarding principles. Here's the link, and one of the reasons Trump and the Congress can't stop the government from expanding. THEY are the ones expanding it and they can't control themselves. They want to keep being perceived in their states as bringers of the magic money.

The Supreme Court has ruled on PART of the Alien Enemies Act controversy. In this case, the Court majority sent the case back to the LA Fifth Circuit for overall adjudication, and ruled that, in the interim, as the case undoubtedly rises back to the SCOTUS on appeals, the Trump Administration no longer can just trot people out of the country without DUE PROCESS. Here's the CNBC report on it, from Friday afternoon.

Supreme Court blocks Trump from restarting Alien Enemies Act deportations

www.cnn.com
Of course, nowhere in the debate on the Alien Enemies Act does anyone involved mention two undeniable points. First, Article Four, Section Four, of the Constitution clearly requires a REQUEST from a state legislature (or governor, if the legislature is out of session) before the Prez can enter a state with soldiers (who are supposed to be in the Militia, all based in their own states). As a result, this arbitrary "policing" through uninvited entrance is unconstitutional. Second, immigration is not a federal purview within the Constitution, which means that its wording overrides even any misreading of the Alien Enemies Act that might be debated, concerning whether the Act requires a Declaration of War from Congress, or a Prez can simply say there's an "invasion". That facet of this is overridden by the Constitution, which negates the Alien Enemies act.
And, as one can see in this Zerohedge piece, Trump and numerous other Republicans are presenting false equivalencies and irrelevant points when it comes to kidnapping people without accusing them of a specific crime, then not affording them due process. Biden engaged in anti-constitutional actions by intentionally subsidizing the moves IN, and Trump's actions are just as unconstitutional. Citing the fact that Biden got away with unconstitutional actions is irrelevant and childish.
Supreme Court Rules Trump Can't Deport Venezuelans (For Now)
The Supreme Court ruled this afternoon to keep in place its block on President Trump's deportations of (alleged) Venezuelan gang members under a 1798 law historically used only in wartime after their ACLU lawyers said the government was set to remove the men without judicial review in violation of a prior order by the justices.. The Supreme Court has previously issued two orders stemming from ...

Los Angeles's City Council is telling employers and employees (the consumer is the final employer) how much the employer must pay for what he or she wants from the employee, and is forcing out of the market low-skill employees whose skills cannot command that price on the market. This is not just an immoral imposition, it involves a lot of government tentacles in the airport, it stands against the US Constitution's contract clause forbidding government from stopping the fulfillment of already agreed contracts, and it perpetuates the collectivist notion that your business is not your own.

In Friday's SCOTUS hearing of arguments on the Birthright Citizenship debate, the question before them appears to be more of whether one federal judge can impose an injunction that applies to other cases in other districts, not whether the 14th A insures BC. The SCOTUS appears to be inclined to follow Stare Decisis here, going back to a 19th Century SCOTUS decision that saw the majority stress that Birthright Citizenship IS insured by the 14th A.

As usual, the principles of political philosophy require one to stress that the state is not a person and cannot claim harm. People have to bring tortious claims in court. The first step to the inevitable surrender of Ukraine. The question is whether the Zelinsky government, backed by aggressors like Lindsay Graham and NATO/EU cronies, will agree to an end, or Putin will have to finish it militarily. This was inevitable, given the spending, tariffs, and the Trump pressure on the fed to lower interest rates. Trump wants more money pumped out, i.e. easier credit, because the US has to refinance $9 Tril in bonds in a few months. That lowering of Fed rates will inject more useless money into the economy, creating a momentary boom filled with moral hazard, and see another bust. SO bad. The Trumpers are astounding in their desire to do pretty much every bad thing they can on a monetary level. And, this is the result. With his trade barriers up, he is harming productivity of US firms, harming their profitability, harming the US economy AND he wants to inject useless cash into the system. This is seeing a massive, justified fear of the US market and the US government's ability to pay debt at competitive rates.

This is a valuable conversation. Although Ben Norton is incorrect about the definition of inflation (he uses the term to apply to the price increases CAUSED by the inflation of the money supply), and he doesn’t dig deep enough into the unscrupulous and immoral force employed in the lockdowns, he touches upon the fact that, as I mentioned, above, Trump wants to see lower interest rates, and he is destroying the economy in order to push the fed to do just that. Check out the chat! Ben is not spot-on for some matters here, but he has it right when it comes to the bond-inflation-US-Debt dynamic.
