First, our first video suggestion, thanks to Glenn Greenwald, who offers excellent information on US politicians who sickeningly are trying to censor people who want to call for peace in the Middle East. Check out his appropriate criticism of two-faced figures like TX Gov. Greg Abbott, here.
And now, the text links, then, our second vid link at the end of the Assembly!

I got to mention this on my streaming show Friday. What might be something the Biden Admin could consider – that being the fact that they have zilcho constitutional power to ban menthol cigs or anything else – appears to have been pushed aside for "race-based political reasons." It would have been nice if the states stood against Title Nine, and much else of the 1964 Civil Rights Act that breached federalism and private contract, a long, long time ago. Instead, state after state took federal funds for all kinds of state-based socialist projects, became dependent on the federal-debt-driven loot, and now try to stand up to the Biden Admin expansion of Title Nine to include people who "identify" as the opposite sex. It's a stunning, but inevitable, outcome of laxity in principle and the desire of state-based politicians to go along and get along. Just a reminder of the hubris that flows through this man's veins – and through the circulatory systems of most politicians. The assumption that he can tell others what is or is not a lot of money lies at the very heart of all statist philosophies . “It is only 0.2 per cent of our gross domestic product, so put in that context, it’s not a whole lot of money for us," McConnell explained.

As triple-x-expected, with the FCC crew now a majority-Bidenista gang, they're pushing, again, for so-called "Net Neutrality" which will impede development of what consumers might want from net providers. Backers of this Orwellian idea want to tell providers that they can't charge more for newly developed fast services, which destroys the incentive to create faster services. But, as important as the economic aspect of this is the parallel moral aspect, which is the fact that, prima-facie, any organization claiming the power to mandate or preclude is, by definition, unjust and ethically unwarranted. In other words, that's the entirety of the FCC. FCC Votes To Reinstate Net Neutrality (forbes.com)

So, bankrupt California has some politicians who went through the kabuki dance of their Reparations Panels to virtue signal how much they "care" about handing cash to people who were never slaves, from people who never enslaved. Now, they acknowledge that they don't have the money to spread around, and they want to do the backdoor redistribution of shifting property taxes, and (something we got to report at MRCTV a few months ago) what is described here as easier licensing for certain racial groups. In other words, government-systemic racism, through the already illegitimate paradigm of professional licensing. It would be fantastic if more folks recognized the inherent immorality of professional licensing statutes upon which their new ploy partially rests. As California Voters Sour on Cash Reparations, State Dems Push Subsidized Property Taxes and Expedited Business Licenses Instead (freebeacon.com)
How California Dems Are Finding Workarounds to Cash Payment Race Reparations
California Democrats are finding ways to make reparations to black descendants of slaves that don’t include direct cash payments, as voters overwhelmingly reject the idea of money handouts. Instead, they are moving ahead with ideas like subsidized property taxes and expedited business licenses–which experts say may violate constitutional guarantees of equal treatment.

By the way, on a national level, Sheila Jackson Lee and a few others are pushing Biden to use "Executive power" to create a US reparations plan... The FTC did it. They claimed the power to ban non-compete clauses in voluntary contracts. This is like the feds deciding to ban other voluntary agreements, such as non-return policies that are expressed at purchase of products, or even going so far as to block bonus clauses. If the participants are participating voluntarily, then who is the aggressive force? Ahh, yeah, that'd be the feds. Of course, the FTC already is aggressive, by its nature, and it only derives its funds through aggression. If people find problems with their contracts, they can go to arbitration. The government approach is that it forces itself on people. Curious how that works, and then they claim they are a force for "good." FTC votes to ban noncompete agreements | The Hill

Through their rhetorical use of the inapplicable and manipulated term "pandemic," the extant monetary and legislative ties to the feds (leveraged by Trump's March 13, 2020 EO claiming a power to declare a "medical emergency" over said "pandemic"), the claims of defining "essential and non-essential" businesses, bans on public freedom of movement -- leading even to arrests of solo beachgoers in CA -- the raids on gyms to keep them shut, and more... the statists saw how people have reacted to those, and they are ready to take what they have learned, and appear to be interested in utilizing their next phases of control over Americans via the already unquestioned business "regulation" schema. Be it requirements that cattle ranchers get their cattle "vaccinated" against bird flu, or other mandates, it looks like the power-hungry in politics will use some of the less direct means at their disposal to hit us and lock-in mandates via their illegitimate claims to "regulate" industries.
