This is a good sign, from an unusual place. As we know, Pam B and Donald T both extolled the purported virtues of "Red Flag" statutes that unconstitutionally and immorally stole firearms from civilians sans any due process. Yet, here, we see an about-face from their purported rationale from the first Trump Administration and the time when Pam was the FLA AG. Now, in a move that lets one explore what we've discussed for a few years, Bondi is, in a small, unspoken, way, questioning the illogic of a so-called "justice" system that prosecutes people, finds them guilty of a crime, releases them into the public, yet tells them they cannot act on their right to keep and bear arms. Reason has good coverage of it. LINK!

There is nothing in the US Constitution that gives the feds the power to even ISSUE something called a "visa" in the first place, and the "Alien Enemies Act" — even if one believed it allowed for the President to unilaterally claim an "invasion" without Congress either Declaring War or citing armed forces trying to enter any of the states — is not constitutional because it breaches Article Four, Section Four (only allowing a Prez to lead Militia members into states if invited in by each state) and it does not afford due process, thus breaching the 4th, 5th, 6th, 8th, and 14th Amendments. It's obviously unconstitutional, and it's stunning to see MAGA folks supporting this "ends justifies the means" mirage of legality. DIG! LINK!

Another good one from Reason that exposes the insanity of tariffs. In this case, Trump's "Drill, baby, drill," rhetoric runs smack into his trade war against imports, seeing the very energy companies that he wants to see "dominate" the world market getting slammed with a sudden 25% increase in the costs of integral items that rely on foreign manufacture to keep costs low. Piping, transport on wheels, components for rigs and derricks, all are becoming more expensive due to Trump's arbitrary and unilateral tariff Executive Orders... LINK!

The number of immigrants being detained by the unconstitutional ICE is at its highest level since 2019. That isn't good. Not one of these people sitting in a cage has been afforded due process. Many have lived here since childhood and have had "green cards". One couple has been here for 35 years and their children (born here) just saw a grandchild enter the world. The standards that so many GOP backers supposedly support are being washed away with a zeal I've not seen since the Dems went after the J-6-ers. LINK!
As U.S. authorities crack down on immigrants at universities in a fervor against pro-Palestinian protests, they quickly have shuttled some of those detained to remote facilities in Louisiana.

Related. Given the insane "National Security(TM)" rationale the SCOTUS majority coughed up last year re the federal move to ban/force-sale-of TIKTOK, I wouldn't hold onto much hope that the majority of the black-robed oligarchs will abide by the Constitution. Here's the latest on Trump trying to use the "Alien Enemies Act" to kidnap people. LINK!
In a significant legal move, President Trump petitions the Supreme Court regarding the controversial Alien Enemies Act, raising pressing questions about executive power and national security. The implications of this case could reshape legal precedents.

Gab and Kiwi Farms (I was ignorant of their existence until I read this piece) are in a massive battle with the UK over their refusal to comply with the British "Online Safety Act" — that Orwellian mandate that the platforms "police" content that the Brits demand to either be not allowed or taken down (and, of course, content that the Online Safety Commission will define to fit its whims and political agendas). Gab already had problems with the UK, circa 2018, when the government threatened ISPs and payment processors to drop the company and users, and Andrew Torba, the GAB CEO, has said that in the new fight, his company will not pay a "red cent" to the government for any "infractions" that OfCom claims they commit. LINK!
By the way, here's a cute move from the UK gubment, as noted in the ReclaimTheNet article:
"The notice Gab received from Ofcom, dated March 26, 2025, demanded a response by March 16 — a nonsensical timeline and blunder that Gab used to highlight what it sees as the reckless, bureaucratic overreach driving this censorship push."

Another key article from ReclaimTheNet, as the GOP-ers push for the "Kids Online Safety Act" (the rights-grabbers love to use "safety" in their aggressive attacks on our rights) to force age-verification and online IDs (so that will generate a larger market for ID masks via virtual net addys). The Constitution doesn't have any enumerated power in it for the feds to mandate this, but they want to do it, anyway. I also have a feeling it will be used to further their desire to pinpoint crypto users. LINK!

This is an interesting follow-up to something we covered at MRCTV last year, the CA statute that prevents parents from knowing how the government schools related to underage pupils who engage in "trans" behavior or use "trans" pronouns, etc., in the government schools. In this case, I can see the feds utilizing the "equal protection" clause of the 14th Amendment to get the state of California to respond. Allowing boys to pretend to be girls in schools can put the girls at risk, breaching the 14th A. LINK! Of course, this is tied to the unconstitutional Dept of Ed, and should be handled by the Dept of Justice, instead.
The Trump administration is investigating the State of California over a law signed by Gavin Newsom last year that bars school districts from adopting policies requiring schools to notify parents if children want to change genders.

This Legal Insurrection piece covers some very worthwhile ground on a portion of the recent Gabbard-Patel testimony re national security. In it, we see numerous links to relevant stories about the Trump Admin revisions to the previous Biden nonsense of putting "Anthropogenic Climate Change" into its make-believe list of "national security" issues. For some time on my streaming show, I've been stressing that, like "public health," the term "national security" is meaningless, defined by the agents of the state to suit whatever agenda they want, that it prevents individuals from defining for themselves what is important for their own personal security, and it has become the equivalent of "the science" that no one can question once it has been dictated to us from on high. Another good piece from Legal Insurrection, seeing a NY case in which the court has found against a parent whom the school system did not tell that her 12 year-old was "transitioning" in school. The mom has taken her daughter out of the system — yet still has to pay for it in taxes. LINK!
Court Says School Can Secretly “Social-Transition” 12-Year-Old Student To Opposite Sex
Another federal court has ruled against a parent’s right to be notified when their child “socially transitions” to the opposite sex in school. Taking its cues from Foote v.Ludlow, a similar First Circuit case we covered here, the Northern District Court of New York held the school’s non-disclosure policy was necessary to promote a “safe” learning environment for all of its students.

Here's more of the "Trans" battle, from Maine, as the state govt refuses to sign a compliance doc that would see its schools officially agree to stop guys from participating in girls sports. This is NOT a good thing. This is fascism in action - companies under nominal "private" ownership, but pushed and pulled by government threats and diktats. Based on the Constitution and federalism, if McCormick Spice is poisoning people, that is a matter for personal tort claims for injury or, should they allegedly kill, a matter for state courts and extradition of the criminals. The feds can take part if the home state refuses to extradite, or if the cross-state claims cause state v state complications. The idea of preemptive federal "rules" is just a smokescreen for threats by federal bureaucrats such as RFK Jr. Regardless of whether people think this is a good "outcome", moral principles remind us that "outcome" based philosophy is a "greater good" fallacy that sees individual rights crushed by the government that defines what is "good" for the "public." IN a free market, we have to be able to decide for ourselves, compare with the decisions and tastes of others as manifested in the market and in prices, and act accordingly. It's troubling to see people applauding these kinds of moves, or threatened moves, from RFK. LINK!

They want to "privatize" the airport security system and eliminate the TSA. They have a bill to do it. This is a good first step, but, as it was when the Bush knuckleheads started the TSA, any private system they allow will have to conform to federal mandates, and just the idea of federal mandates stands in contradistinction from what is enumerated as "powers granted" to the federal government by the US Constitution. To write that correctly, I should say they are "powers" claimed by the authors of the US Constitution, not true "powers" over people that can be supported on an ethical or philosophical level. LINK!

This is an excellent example of how government gets in the way of economic calculation and freedom. These services are not worth enough to consumers to be sustainable at higher employee costs, and the potential that the state of FLA will change its restrictive labor laws to allow unskilled teens to do the work reflect the fact that the labor laws and immigration statutes and policing incur higher expenses for consumers and prevent many people from utilizing their time and energy in productive capacities.
