Your Sunday News Assembly, for 12-8-24!
Breaking news, video links, and contextual information to help peel those political onions out there!
Welcome, fellow Conspirators!
One day after the anniversary of the Perl Harbor attack on 1941, we can recall how FDR and his cronies not only established a destructive embargo of Japan to incite Japanese reactions, but also the fact that the US had broken the Purple Code and knew the Japanese were on their way south in the Pacific. My dad enlisted with the US Navy on December 7, 1941, and his brother joined the US Army that day, as well. Now, we can look at the deceptions and duplicitous activity of contemporary politicians and polemicists, and see that the liars are working hard — with our tax cash and the cash of future tax slaves.
This week, we have 18 breaking stories and THREE video links for you! As always, please feel free to share any story and the whole Assembly!
Be sure to head to my X, to Rumble or Rokfin at 6 PM eastern each M-F for the news, from Liberty Conspiracy LIVE! I try to supply as much info to freedom fighters as I can, and our live audience is great!!
And feel free to leave a comment at the bottom of the Assembly, and you also can donate to help the Liberty Conspiracy, itself! Just visit PayPal to help out!
And now, as Mario and Luigi would say, “Let’s-a GO!”
** A quick edit! Minutes after the release of the Assembly, news has emerged that Assad has fled Damascus. Here’s Antiwar with the preliminary info that led to the latest development. LINK!

Trump and his NIH nom, Dr. Jay Battacharya, support withholding research grants to universities if the universities engage in what Trump (and/or Dr. B) describe as "woke" research. It's up to them to define, of course, and many so-called "conservatives" might smile about it, but will they come within cognitive proximity of what previous generations of conservatives used to mention? Will they mention that there's nothing in the US Constitution that lets them hand out money to universities at all? Moreover, if the Constitution were amended to allow that, would this kind of redistribution of wealth be any more ethical? Here's the WSJ on the newly discussed stance: LINK!

Some Americans are applauding Donald Trump for his new X post on Syria in which he says, in part, that the US should stay out of it. But this prevents people from knowing that the US has BEEN involved with supporting al Nusra (which is now rebranded as Hayat Tahrir al-Sham or HTS) for years, as it settled into Idlib. John McCain and Lindsy Graham met in Turkey with the leader of al Nusra at the time, and he is the leader of HTS now. Trump also does not mention that, since Obama (and Kerry) tried to fool people into believing that Assad used "chemical weapons against his own people" (a claim even MIT students debunked), the US has occupied 1/3 of Syria, handing out money to splinter al Queda groups that ally themselves w the US, and Israel also has aided the anti-Assad terrorists. Trump, himself, admitted the US was occupying Syria, saying in his last Presidency (as Turkey's Erdogan sat with him) "We have the oil." Trump also mistakenly claims the Russians have lost 600K men in the fights with Ukraine. That's preposterous nonsense. Perhaps he meant that 600K Ukranian people have died in combat since March, 2022? Here is Trump's Tweet/X-Post: https://x.com/realDonaldTrump/status/1865434273953509462

Of all things, Newsom is right, here, and Breitbart is wrong. All tariffs are immoral and economically destructive. They also get gamed for special interests and see blowback. That's a separate matter from the heavy burden of state and federal mandates put on US businesses (something Newsom has applied to business owners and consumers trapped in his state). Tariffs harm consumers 8x as much as they help the specific "essential" business favored by the politicians in their re-worked "essential, non-essential" idiocy and arrogance. Tariffs are central planning machines. And the immigration problem can be seen as partially attached to the tariff problem. Tariffs make it more difficult for domestic producers (who also are consumers, before they make their products with some foreign-made goods to then sell to the final consumers, who actually are the final bosses) to make their products in a cost-effective way. This means they have to cut costs in other ways. Why not take advantage of the centrally-run immigration system and hire cheap labor brought in by Biden, on our tax money? The troubling conservative adherence to an unconstitutional, centrally-controlled immigration system, rather than the state-run control over immigration reserved by the Constitution (the word immigration, as you know, is not in the US Constitution, and people keep conflating naturalization for immigration) — yeah, this troubling conservative adherence to the anti-constitutional position to centrally plan immigration has wrought the Bidenista system. Replacing Biden for Trump might change things on a short-term basis, but will not avoid the pitfalls of the DC controlled immigration system and all the money attached to it, all the attacks on the Bill of Rights it represents. Of all people, Newsom actually comes close, and Breitbart is wayyyyy off the mark, here. Link!

The idea that these drones are "threats" to US national security is absurd. First of all, no one can define "national security" because, like "public health" everyone who is taxed has a different opinion about what constitutes "security" and the imposition of statism forces one size on all and takes away the individual freedom of people, which means each person actually is made insecure by the threatening statists. Second, if the Chinese want to hack into drone systems, their military easily could do that. This is about protectionism for politically-connected US makers and it's about ginning up fear of China. This is a good piece on the current sickness of the US economy. Trump's tariffs will make things much worse. He panders, like the others, while prolonging the myth that the feds have any constitutional role in handling "natural disasters." I use PayPal, and I've met Peter Thiel. But the ties between Sacks, Mr. Thiel, the CIA and various limited hangouts and cutouts of the CIA and DARPA are too strong not to be noted here. We're talking Palantir, Facebook, and more, including ties to Avril Haines, who not only was involved in the "pandemic simulation" that seemed to so cozily predict many of the government narratives they foist on people, but who also is close to John Brennan, who, of course, is a drone-meister and actively cobbled together the false Russian collusion narrative that Trump found so problematic. One wonders how insightful or even curious Mr. Trump is when he delves away from the Constitution like this AND deals with so many people who are bridges between technocratic agendas and Deep State goals. Here's the first of two VERY long pieces by Whitney Webb that outline the technocratic-DARPA-CIA ties of people like Sacks and Mr. Thiel, going into Palantir, other forms of digital money-surveillance systems, and more. First, this conversation about South Korea, featuring Andrew Napolitano and Ryan Dawson, is outstanding! It’s about the best on the current situation that I’ve seen. Kudos!
SECOND! This pair of conversations (with Scott Ritter and Larry Johnson) is excellent. Detailing info on Syria, it lays out key historical points that I hope more people, worldwide, will learn and remember. LINK!
THIRD! Danny Haiphong did a nice live-restreaming of Scott Ritter’s excellent peace panel event in DC Saturday. Nice perspective on those stories. My only gripe is the Surname only when referring to DJT.
Everyone does it, because one syllable is much easier than three (Mister Trump) or 4 (President Trump). It's always a flashback to my military service, where we all called each other by our surnames only. Looking forward to another week of LC, Number 1
