ONE!
The Senate passed the obnoxious insult to their Constitution, adding hundreds of billions more (no pop media source I've seen has an ACTUAL number for the total, and I've spent three hours, on and off, looking at various sites, from Politico to the NYT to NBC, to Reuters) in debt and expanding the govt funding beast by at least $1 trillion through March 14. The most solid information I have is on the $110 billion in "disaster" and "farm" aid, but I have a copy of the House version of the bill, which the Senate kept mostly entact, and some simple addition going through it moves the price tag to at least $1 tril and that doesn't include the NDAA at nearly a TRILLION ($896 BILLION), nor does it include interest on the debt. (I checked w X's Grok, and it tells me that the total is $1.2 Trillion) here is a screenshot:
Here is an overview (and a subtly delighted overview) of the "emergency aid" provisions. On my steaming show, I offered the audience the chance to see Johnson with FoxNews morning as they all agreed that the "emergency" aid packages just HAVE TO BE FUNDED. That is so alien to the original idea of government the Founders held, it's like the world has been replaced by an ironic facsimile. LINK!

US Senate passes government funding bill, averts shutdown
By Richard Cowan, Bo Erickson, Andy Sullivan and Katharine Jackson WASHINGTON (Reuters) -The U.S. Congress passed spending legislation early on Saturday in a down-to-the wire burst of activity that will avert a destabilizing government shutdown ahead of the busy holiday travel season. The Democratic-controlled Senate in an 85-11 vote passed the bill to continue government funding 38 minutes

Here's a copy of the House bill that passed. This is the one I used for my addition, adding up the adders... Thank goodness they're going to take money from people nowhere near the Francis Scott Key bridge to pay for it... Glorious! 🙂

And then there is the "Just The News" coverage, which includes their mention of the new "Social Security" bill that the DC horde passed. Note that the report says it would "raise benefits" for millions. Actually, it will GIVE NEW BENEFITS to millions of government employees who never had to pay into Social Security to get that money handed back to them. It's a welfare package to hand to public employee parasites.
Which brings us to TWO:

Here is a great example of how government central planners who break their Constitution can seduce private interests to become part of the fascist leviathan. This Texas coal-power-electricity plant is getting a massive subsidy to drop coal and make the "transition" to unreliable and inefficient-for-large needs solar. (The solar panels also likely have been purchased from Chinese makers, which can sell them at lower prices because they operate on electricity provided by Chinese coal plants, which the Chinese have been opening to the tune of appx one every two weeks as of the first half of 2024.) If the solar power option were financially feasible, they would not need to get a government subsidy and force people to pay for it. People would willingly invest in it. LINK!
A South Texas coal-fired power plant will receive more than $1 billion in funding from the U.S. Department of Agriculture to convert into a solar and battery facility, according to the agency.

Why is the US killing ANYONE overseas without a Declaration of War or issuance of Letters of Marque and Reprisal? And that's not even taking it to the deeper level of ethics, which leads to anarchism: why do some people claim the power over us to take our money to do any of this? Curiously, what numerous Americans might find to be an "offensive misuse" of the COVID pork under Trump merely scratches the surface, because none of it should have been collected from taxpayers (and future taxpayers, since the US has a 36.5 TRILLION DOLLAR DEBT) in the first place.
