The Senate Homeland Security Permanent Subcommittee on Investigations, led by Sen. Ron Johnson, received the phone copy from HHS under Robert F. Kennedy Jr. This comes amid scrutiny of Fauci’s time leading the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. Republicans see it as a potential breakthrough to review communications and decisions from the COVID-19 response, especially after Fauci invoked the Fifth Amendment over 100 times in a prior hearing. Carlson argued that the political system has collapsed into paralysis and looting. He then outlined the ten core qualities he believes America should embody (and largely once did). The same rules must apply to everyone — presidents, federal agents, and elites alike. He highlighted the “Epstein class” as the symbol of a corrupt system that protects the powerful.Sovereign

Americans should be physically and spiritually healthy, clear-eyed, and strong. He endorsed RFK Jr.’s food agenda, called for widespread sobriety, and criticized the heavy use of pharmaceuticals (Xanax, Adderall, SSRIs, etc.).Honest
Officials who lie to the public should be punished. Most classified records — including those on the JFK assassination and 9/11 — should be opened.Optimistic

El-Sayed has it half-right, since he opposes sending cash to Israel, but he should not assume that it is appropriate for govt to take $ for domestic projects he likes.
Trump is in the midst of a chaos play. Who knows if he really is upset, or all of this “internal division” is for public consumption? He easily should have known of the lack of munitions. It’s clear, based on stockpiles, use, and time to replenish.

FOX is stooping to the level of willingly taking up clearly fake news in order to do the equivalent of the “bias news header” that leftist editors used to employ when paper news was king. Put out a big, bold claim, then, later, let it fade without retraction, or, if the news group DOES retract, make the retraction barely noticeable.
According to one of my contacts in DC, Trump is building up forces again on land and sea in the Persian Gulf region, and people like Jack Keene are pushing for him to use them. And it does seem as if Patrick Henningsen’s theory that Trump will hit, pull back, hit, pull back until just prior to the elections, then announce a “deal” still seems to be the Admin’s plan.

The NATO situation is absurd. As you likely know, Ukraine hit a Turkish ship. Turkey is part of NATO. NATO still supports Ukraine.
Russia hit a US-Ukraine drone company last week, and increased the hits last night.
And, indeed, on July 25, Russia struck a drone production facility in Kyiv owned by Terminal Autonomy, a U.S. corporation registered in Delaware. LINK
Terminal Autonomy produces precision deep-strike and AI-guided loitering munitions, including models such as the AQ-400 Scythe and AQ-100 Bayonet, designed with guidance systems resistant to electronic warfare and jamming. These systems were already in active use on the front lines. Russian statements referred to the site as involving a “Ukrainian-American company” that assembled and stored unmanned aerial vehicles (with claims of capacity up to about 1,000 drones per month), though they did not explicitly name the U.S. ownership in initial reports. No casualties were reported from the strike on this facility. Multiple reports describe this as the first known instance in the war in which Russia targeted a facility owned by a U.S. defense-related company, but there WAS one other strike that damaged a Lockheed-Martin plant outside Kiev 18 months ago. These new strikes on logistics hubs and warehouses in the Kyiv region focused on what Russia claimed stored drone components) primarily hit Ukrainian companies and facilities (such as Nova Poshta terminals) or non-U.S. international brands.
And Russian forces intensified their responses because Zelinsky recklessly thought he could score points w Wachtington DC and NATO if he engaged in a lot of drone strikes, strikes which have taken the lives of many civilians in Russia.
The Russian tacticians are working to end this before January, perhaps before the late autumn, but if NATO, the EU, and Trump keep pumping in weapons and money to Ukraine, Zelinsky and co will be perversely incentivized to continue, regardless of the damage done to civilian lives.

TARIFF TERRORISM
Trump claims that tariffs made us rich. This coming from the man who, while standing in front of a wall with an anti-tax on tips message, already hit Americans with the largest tax increase in 70 years, thanks to his tariffs. The first Trump Administration (2017–2021) imposed new tariffs on roughly $380 billion of U.S. imports, primarily 25% on steel, 10% on aluminum under Section 232, and successive Section 301 duties on Chinese goods covering over $300 billion in trade. The steel tariffs harmed some U.S. steelmakers. Firms such as Allegheny Technologies and NLMK USA, which depended on imported semi-finished slabs for rolling, faced prohibitive costs, paid tens of millions in duties, and idled operations after exclusion requests were denied. Even integrated producers like U.S. Steel saw market-value losses exceeding $5 billion and furnace idlings amid overcapacity and weaker demand.
-In his second term beginning January 2025, President Trump’s tariffs extracted substantial sums from importers before any IEEPA-related refunds. By late 2025, new duties exceeded $200 billion, with total customs collections reaching $264 billion that year. Approximately $166 billion came from IEEPA-based reciprocal and other measures later ruled unlawful by the Supreme Court in February 2026. LINK
Numerous states are suing him over his new attempt to slam US consumers. Section 301 of the Trade Act of 1974 (19 U.S.C. § 2411). This is the fake “authority” the Trump Administration is relying on for the latest round of tariffs (10% or 12.5% on imports from roughly 59–60 countries plus the European Union, covering the vast majority of U.S. imports). These took effect around July 24, after temporary tariffs expired, and the administration has framed them as responses to investigations by the U.S. Trade Representative (USTR) into countries’ alleged failures to adequately address goods produced with forced labor in global supply chains. -Section 301 authorizes the USTR (and ultimately the President) to investigate foreign acts, policies, or practices that are unjustifiable, unreasonable, or discriminatory and that burden or restrict U.S. commerce, then impose retaliatory measures including tariffs if those findings are made. The 25-state lawsuit (led by attorneys general from California, Arizona, Oregon, and others, filed in the U.S. Court of International Trade) challenges these measures as exceeding that authority, as arbitrary/capricious under the Administrative Procedure Act, and as a pretext to recreate broad tariffs previously struck down. LINK For context on the sequence: The administration had earlier imposed wide-ranging tariffs under the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA), which the Supreme Court rejected in Learning Resources, Inc. v. Trump (February 2026) as not authorizing tariffs. Temporary bridge tariffs followed under Section 122 of the Trade Act of 1974 (limited duration and rate); after those expired, the administration shifted to the current Section 301 actions.

And, in his plans for the govt-run supermarkets, he wants only NY residents, and wants ID to prove it. This is drawing criticism from some who worry that foreigners might vote, and who want ID to prove citizenship. Ahhh, collectivism. No one ever can balance the systems that are collectivized.
