Then, we dug into the incredibly heavy burden Trump’s wide array of tariffs will have (and already have had) on US consumers and on the ways in which foreign sellers will redirect their sales to other nations.

And, just hours after Trump signed his unconstitutional EO to impose 25% tariffs on Indian imports, he claimed more are on the way to hit buyers of Indian imports. Trump is out of control. He’s dangerous militarily, economically, and societally (because so many MAGA hold him up as a hero, they overlook his deceits, his aggression, and more). LINK!

And then, we got to report on the insane “vacation” many GOP members of Congress took in the genocidal state of Israel.
Note: Protests are breaking out all over Lebanon over the US push to disarm Hezbollah. This is seen as a precursor to Israeli invasion and eventual takeover. LINK!

We dug into the FDA ending many research contracts for mRNA jabs, and how the focus on the FDA to be a policing agency for food and drugs is dangerous from the outset, and we got to talk about this (a good subject to explore for those who want to learn more about the US Constitution and deeper freedom!)…
You might find areas of agreement and disagreement with Judge Napolitano on this story. He writes about the Gov of Texas issuing arrest warrants for Democrat members of the TX legislature who flee the state in order to prevent a quorum to change the “representational balance” for congressional seats. Correctly, the Judge notes that people have freedom of movement, and that they have not been cited for any criminal act that would allow for extradition from other states where they might travel to hide. Likewise, the Judge correctly notes people have a Natural Right to move freely.
But the Judge errs in thinking that the Constitution allows the feds to create statutes that prohibit the transport of certain products for sale across state lines, and he contradicts his stand on Natural Rights when stating that the state/polis/feds can claim the power to prohibit people from freely bringing goods with them to peacefully sell to others. The principle is the same, and stems from the right to engage in non-aggressive activity versus the aggressive threats of statism. LINK!
On a constitutional basis, he also misreads the Interstate Commerce Clause, but as far as true liberty is concerned, the wording of the “rules” for the federal government are not relevant because any imposition of statism on people, even with “constitutional safeguards”, is immoral and involuntary. This is a very good piece explaining it, and we also can recall James Madison explaining that the clause was not meant to allow the feds to control personal trade over state borders, but to be a remedial measure to let states bring trade disputes to Congress for resolution.
